Based on the verse in 2 Chronicles 7:14, this prayer meeting focuses on the call to Christians to pray for our beloved Nation. Some six years ago the Lord gave Miss Nita Edwards, Director of The Prayer Center, the mandate to build a prayer center for the healing of the nation. This implies that our land is:
You, dear reader, as a believer will be familiar with the reasons behind these "symptoms" which could include attacks from without, strife from within and, at the deepest level, sin-sickness.
The need is urgent. Don't let us be like the ostrich - heads buried in the sand. God has promised that, "If my people will…..I will…". We realize that you may already be praying, but there is great power in the corporate prayers of God's people. We are inviting you to come and join us. By so doing you will help us to turn our obligation into reality.
The Prayer Center is open most FOURTH MONDAYS OF THE MONTH AT 7:00 PM (please check date) specifically to pray for this Nation. This is just a start. Members of the ALIVE GLOBAL team lead the meeting. If you cannot come, e.g. due to distance, consider setting aside an hour at the same time to pray in your "closet" - you will not regret it.
